Assignment

Responsible for marketing of the coffee brands Douwe Egberts, Kanis & Gunnink and Van Nelle in the Netherlands. Member of the category management team,leading six direct reports.

Approach and results

Developed and implemented the launch of the international 'Douwe Egberts Aromettes' concept. Developed the 'Good Ideas' TV campaign and media strategy. Developed a new portfolio strategy with the aim of breaking the negative price spiral on core business. Result: Improved scores on all relevant brand metrics.
